Smaller improvements and fixes

Search lists items before pages and help, the Catalog menu opens again on public pages, the Activity filters apply again, the Armory page opens for free accounts, and a round of follow-ups for the 3D viewer.

Search and navigation

  • In the search palette, items, cases and collections come first, then “Go to” pages and help answers. Enter on an item name opens the item.
  • Signed in on a public page, such as an item page or the catalog, the Catalog dropdown opens again. It turned its chevron and showed nothing.
  • The currency code next to the account menu is gone. The display currency is still changed in Settings.

Fixes

  • The filters on Activity (All, Openings, Trade-ups, …), the range and the sort apply again. They changed the address but not the list. The view and sort controls on a collection page had the same fault.
  • On a free account, Inventory has its “Most copies” and “Recently acquired” sorts back, and the Qty and Wear headers sort again.
  • The Collections menu no longer says “No current price” beside every case for a signed-in free account.
  • The Armory tile on Statistics no longer claims “0 passes redeemed” on a free account.

The Armory on a free account

The Armory page opens for a free account with its own counts: passes, stars, redemptions, and items and stars per collection. What they were worth is a Supporter figure, shown in place.

In the 3D viewer

  • A Backdrop picker with scenes from the game, such as Italy, Inferno, Nuke and Dust II; the viewer opens on Dust II when the scene is available. The skin turns in front of the scene and sways gently when left alone, as in the game.
  • Vanilla knives open in 3D, without float and pattern controls.
  • A sticker’s own page has “Inspect in 3D”: the sticker on a card, with a scrape slider.
  • Charms show their real colours and swing as the weapon turns.
  • A gun with five stickers shows all five.
  • With stickers on the weapon, each sticker is one compact row; click it for Scrape and Rotate.

How-to

The how-to page has a new 42-second walkthrough, from installing the extension to the first statistics, in a dark and a light cut that follows your theme.
